The Featured Article section should showcase of some of the best NZ articles. If you want to replace a FA, here are my recommendations:
- choose a topic that is NZ specific and at least as notable as the one being replaced (eg. Manuka, Pukeko are not exclusive to NZ; Dave Gallaher seems more noteworthy than Pete Bethune)
- make sure you include a picture and a good abstract (Keith Holyoake doesn't have a pic, John Key only got a brief sentence)
- try and keep a balanced mix of people, places, flora, fauna, events
